In the pursuit of friends after moving to Indianapolis, Kayten was convinced to join the Hoydens after running into several members at a bar. She found out quickly that she not only loved the sport, but the people playing as well. She plans to continue playing and hopes to improve upon her skills from last season.
Kayten
"I've been playing for about 6 years. After one practice I fell in love. This sport can be for anyone and everyone, inclusive and the strong sense of community, and empowerment. I've found some amazing friends, had the best times of my life and gotten to travel to beautiful places!"
Raven
"I can't say I knew exactly what I was looking for when I joined the team. However- what I found was a family, a community, and a support system. I found my people! Rugby is way more than a sport- it's a lifestyle."
